About Manassas Baptist

Make yourself at home.  We believe you are unique and special in God's eyes and we want to give you a way to see the unique and special way God has molded Manassas Baptist Church.  Our members and attendees have various backgrounds, yet unite around one mission - to love God passionately and to lead others to Christ through acts of love.

As believers, we recognize Jesus as the only begotten Son of God, the Creator.  As our Savior, Jesus died for our sins, was resurrected and makes us right with God when we repent of our sins and accept His gift of salvation. In turn, God sent the Holy Spirit to build the Church by providing guidance and comfort to Christ's followers.  We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word, and that the Holy Spirit gives gifts to believers.  As a community of faith, we want to share God's Word and help you identify and use God's gifts.  When this occurs, God is glorified and the Church is a rich, all-embracing spiritual family.  We invite you to enter community through various worship experiences, many and varied ministries, small groups, discipleship or mission opportunities.  We are located in the heart of Manassas, but our desire is to serve the world.  Consider this as a time of exploration that could lead to discovering God's purpose for your life.

Manassas Baptist Church acknowledges the various relational needs of those seeking to discover or strengthen their faith.  We respect anonymity; yet, we seek to engage persons because of our deep belief that God is building a fellowship.  We believe that a relationship with God and others is at the heart of a faith community.  In worship, small group, Bible study, ministry, discipleship and even during social times we get to know each other personally and share life's journey.

We strive to accept each other where we are, yet our message of hope is in becoming what God desires us to be.  The members and pastors of MBC recognize the challenges of everyday living as well as the times of crisis and success. We believe that our relationship with God provides strength and capacity for celebration.  We believe the church family is God's most effective vehicle for personal and corporate strength and/or celebration.  Is it time for the next step?  Please feel free to call (703-361-2146, ext. 221) or stop by for a visit to check us out.
