Parents and Coaches,
As you know, fall sports is upon us. Many of you are building your calender and deciding which sports you will or will not sign you child up for. There is some
important news you need to be aware of concerning the sports ministry at Manassas Baptist Church. We are excited to be launching Upward Sports in the
fall of 2012. We believe that Upwards will be an incredible experience for your family. To make that transition and train our leaders in the new model, each sport we offer will take one full season off. What that means specifically is that we will NOT be offering basketball this fall and winter, baseball next summer, or soccer next fall. Until we relaunch in the Fall of 2012, we will not be offering any of the sports. We wanted to get this information out to you as soon as possible so that those of you who want your child in a basketball league still have time to sign them up for one. We understand that this may inconvenience those of you who were looking forward to any of the upcoming seasons. However, we are committed to this transition and believe that not only will this improve your child's experience, it will enable us to help families take the next step to becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus.
