Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Studies

Start Time:

Tuesday, Jan 10, 2012, 9:30am

Event Description:

There are two options for Bible Study on Tuesday mornings starting January 3, 2012 at 9:30 AM.  The first option is “James:  Mercy Triumphs.” James, Jesus' own brother started out as a skeptic.  See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple.  Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos.  In other ways, James resembles the Book of Proverbs more than any other New Testament book.  Cost for workbook is $16.00.

Contact Janice Gregor () for info or if you would like to receive a book in advance.

The other Tuesday morning option is a Precept Upon Precept study called “A Divided Nation,” which will use 1 Kings 1-15:8, and 2 Chronicles 1-13 as the text.  This study helps us discover what happens when God’s people trust in their own judgment instead of His perfect wisdom, and explores the lives of Solomon, Rehoboam, Jeroboam, and Abijam.

Gathering room for fellowship will be in the Rock building, Room 36 with classes in 33 and 34.
